Plant characteristics The first Polish heterotic variety of watermelon: early, perfectly tolerates the unfavorable climatic conditions of Poland. It also bears fruit at lower temperatures. The fruits are quite large (3-4 kg) with a dark green skin. The flesh is very juicy and very sweet, dark pink-red. Recommended for cultivation both under cover and in the ground. Sowing Plants: Seeds should be sown at the end of April at the beginning of May in pots 7-8 cm in diameter, in rooms with a temperature of 22-24 ° C. The seedlings with 4-5 leaves should be put into the ground in the second half of May, at a spacing of 1.5x10 cm, preferably in wells covered with well-distributed manure or compost. Grow in a sunny, sheltered place in fertile and moist soil. Harvesting begins in August and lasts until September. Ripe fruit makes a hollow noise when tapping.
